This trip ran from Thursday August 8, 2019 to Sunday August 18, 2019. For 10 days we were surrounded by towering old-growth forests, waterfalls, and mighty rivers. Not only did we backpack the famous Timberline Trail for nearly 40 miles, circumnavigating Mt. Hood, we also experienced some of the most beautiful scenery in the country or the world for that matter. After we packed out, feeling accomplished, we explored the area, seeing valleys dotted with family farms, wineries and orchards filled with lavender and wildflowers. Together, we we enjoyed scrumptious local food and wine. Our journey together continued to the Pacific Ocean for a few days, and our trip ended with beach-combing, whale watching, stargazing and cliff views. But of course on our last night together we enjoyed a bit of nightlife and frivolity in the amazing city of Portland. This trip did not disappoint.

Deposit:

    $300 per person due December 7, 2018 (to secure all lodging)

​

Balance:

   $675 per person due April 5, 2019(includes some meals, lodging, BAT shuttle and BAT courtesy fee of $100).

   Travel to Oregon and most meals are not included in this price.

   Maximum number of people for this trip is 10.

Explore, hike and acclimate at Timberline Lodge

3/4 day hike on Timberline Trail

Day Three:

Sunday August 11

Full day hike on Timberline Trail

Day Four:

Monday August 12

Full day hike on Timberline Trail

Day Five:

Tuesday August 13

Wednesday August 14

1/2 day hike on Timberline Trail

Camp at Cape Lookout and dinner at the Pelican Brewery

Day Seven:

Thursday August 15

Explore and whale watching at Cape Lookout and live catch dinner on the beach

Day Eight:

Friday August 16

Tillamook Cheese Factory 

Portland

Day Nine:

Saturday August 17

Tour Portland during the day and special farm to plate dinner at Elk Cove Vineyard

Day Ten:

Sunday August 18

BAT shuttles participants to airport between 6am-12pm
